Jazz Trio - Each week the Jeans and Jazz Trio plays a mixture of Jazz during the opening and closing times of worship and specially selected selections during the "Worship Through Jazz" time.

Jazz is a music genre that originated in the African-American communities of New Orleans, in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and developed from roots in blues and ragtime. Jazz is characterized by swing and blue notes, call and response vocals, polyrhythms and improvisation (Wikipedia).

Choir - The Hapeville First UMC choir performs twice a month, selecting among traditional hymns, choral arrangements, Jazz inspired Hymns, Gospel music and more. Choir Worship (rehearsal) is held on Sunday evenings at 5:30 in the Choir Room. Enter on the Atlanta Ave. side of the building at the "Church Office" entry.

Contemporary Christan music is often used to open and close our worship experience as a means of expressing our gratitude to God.

Traditional hymns are sung each week during worship by the congregation as a means of remembering our tradition and teach new members the songs of our history.

Special Guest appear on a regular basis in our worship experience offering inspiring vocals and instrumentals.
